I had one of these when I was young. I remember it was green. I was always slowest on the highway.

Fortunately we were in France, not in Germany. I remember that the gear shift was in the dashboard, and the engine was no bigger than our lawnmower

Our first car was a 1959 Ford station wagon which was a wedding gift from my grandfather - paid the down payment and first years loan payments
Both of these photos were taken at our wedding. - not by me.

The sign in the window says "Just Married"
I did take this one- our second move our only heat in the house was from a fireplace. We did that move entirely on our own - moved everything in the station wagon except we paid a guy with a truck to move the piano
