I'm still amazed that film has made such a resurgence since the advent of digital in the early 2000's. The young 25-year-old assistant in our office shoots film every once in a while. And I'm noticing the same with vinyl records, cassettes and Sony Walkman cassette players on Reddit.

Maybe modern tech is too polished? Could be. I remember how some would say decades ago already, when dvd CD's were the thing that it didn't have the same "character" as a vinyl record, scratched or not.

Well actually, I have a lot of music CD's from the 1980's to the present. I burn the music to my computer then upload to my phone, that way no monthly subscription for music. And I'll always have it, just in case. The whole monthly subscription thing has gotten out of hand.
