Everyone around here has been seeing the Northern Lights this evening, which is rare this far south in England. By the time I learned this it had started raining.

There was talk that they would be visible nearly to Florida but I think that was a bit of a stretch. Maybe down to say Cincinnati (not quite 1/2 from the upper tier near Michigan down to Florida.

We had cloud cover all day so I’m not even going to bother looking out the window, let alone go outside where its cold!

We had it here too last night apparently. And I did look but didn't see anything. I always look when I read there's a chance to see it this night. And I never see it.

We have a south-eastern wind apparently, not too strong, but at 3.9 Celcius and wet and damp, it's still cold. The world outside looks blue-ish grey.

Supposedly strong winter storm coming our way this Friday, Sat, Sun. Freezing rain followed by snow.

woke up this morning (5am) and there was a downright brisk wind and chilly temps. 2f or -17c i dont know what the windchill was. luckily i didnt have to stop and get any gas this morning. other than that, coming home it was pretty clear, and bright, and blue skies... just still a bit on the cool side

ANOTHER luckily, i got gas for $2.39 a gallon close to work. $2.99 near home.

yeah. that came to about $0.64/L last time i was in Denmark with the family to see Jette's family benzine was really expensive. Canada's gas is about $1.10/L or almost $4.40 a gallon.
