It was cloudy here today, no rain, around 5C (now 2C), so not too cold but I was still shivering in my coat when I had to go somewhere this afternoon.

had about 5" (125mm) of snow on the ground when i came home. not as cold at 18f...

i got to run the snow thrower. about the only fun i have in the winter anymore. i dont ski or ice skate anymore... i need to get a part for my snow thrower because the augers, push the snow backwards and under so i have a rooster tail of snow blowing on me and the cement i just tried to clear

The weather prognosticators are prognosticating gloom and doom for the weekend. The only thing I really worry about is freezing rain. That will break down trees and power lines. But we’ve got plenty of food, a Coleman camp stove for cooking, and a generator for some electricity. Enough to run a little heater and keep phones charged.
